Delete your account
You can delete your KnowHouse account and its data at any time. Here’s how.
In the app (instant)
- Open KnowHouse and sign in.
- Open the menu and tap your name to go to your Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm with your password.
Your account is deleted immediately.
By email
Can’t sign in anymore, or uninstalled the app? Email us from the address you registered with and we’ll delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted
- Your login (email address and password)
- Your profile: username, avatar, points, preferences, contribution statistics and family membership
- Open ToDos assigned to you are handed back to your family as unassigned, so nobody waits on a deleted account.
- Completed ToDos and instructions you wrote belong to your family’s shared history; completed ToDos are removed automatically 30 days after their deadline.
